Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she began her medical career more than 20 years ago. She worked as a nurse in many settings including the cardiovascularand ICU units at Loyola and Edward Hospital in Naperville. Decided to further her education and training by attending the nurse practitioner program at DePaul University, graduating in 2000 with a Masters Degree in Nursing. She has been working in a busy family practice office since that time. She is a nurse practitioner, skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, preventative health maintenance exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, and prescribing medications. She regularly confers with Dr. Opalka and refer complex cases to specialists when appropriate.
